This is the first time ever I have actively complained about any product. They were that bad! 0/5 and thats generous. steven phillipsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5776596577761939395.post-23747280337727199862015-11-28T10:35:30.954-08:002015-11-28T10:35:30.954-08:004/5? I don't know what McVities think Belgian chocolate is but they're way off with this over-sweet, cheap tasting chocolate substitute rubbish. You can buy much nicer chocolate biscuits cheaply, don't waste your money on this.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04567476739688662409noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5776596577761939395.post-36684753946305990652015-09-08T13:52:15.461-07:002015-09-08T13:52:15.461-07:00The chocolate is full of grains of sugar. Big grains of sugar sticking out of the "chocolate".
What proper chocolate has big grains of sugar stuck throughout it?? You couldn't give these to guests, total rubbish. No wonder they are on offer everywhere. Probably discontinued already!
2/5 Barely edible.. If you look carefully at an exposed (bitten) part of the chocolate, you can see the grains of sugar sparkling. Over all, pretty unpleasant and far too sweet for me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5776596577761939395.post-46896442567760998522015-04-24T09:46:56.690-07:002015-04-24T09:46:56.690-07:00They had these on promotion at ASDA yesterday, 98p...They had these on promotion at ASDA yesterday, 98p. I also tried the milk chocolate. Not impressed, I have to say. Shortbread biscuit as you said FAR TOO SWEET and sugary and also the crumbly texture meant a lot of the biscuits were already broken - not ideal if you are planning to offer these to guests as the packet ends up full of crumbs which stick to the chocolate covering and the whole thing ends up looking a right mess. Won't be buying again.Jan Johnsonhttp://coullcollectibles.comnoreply@blogger.com
