The Cadbury share bag range is pretty extensive, and of pretty consistently high quality. Now there's a new kid on the block, not that the bar it's based on is new. Yes, the Boost bar is getting the recognition I feel it's been lacking for a while, and is now available in bite size form.
These are pretty much along the same lines as Bitsa Wispa and Twirl Bites. They're miniature versions of the bar itself, and this does taste a lot like the bar. The chocolate is as good as ever, and the filling is a very sweet caramel offering, with that extra edge that the added glucose provides. It makes for a pretty energising, quite filling bag of bites, but to me these just aren't the same as a regular Boost bar. The levels of filling seem quite off, the caramel ends up being quite sickly, and while the biscuit is there these bites didn't seem crunchy at all, which was quite disappointing. Overall it makes for a pretty average bag, and in sure I'd choose another variety over these. A Boost bar is better than a Boost Bite.
My rating: 3/5
