Today's Review: Cadbury Dairy Milk Big Taste Choco Biscuit Crunch

Another Big Taste flavour, hurrah! These gigantic bars have often been modelled after the big fat bars of Milka available across Europe, and this one is no exception. This looks to be the British version of the Choco-Swing, and it consists of a thick biscuit, covered with a vanilla cream, wrapped up in Dairy Milk chocolate. There's also another layer of chocolate thrown in for good measure.

Now, I was quite a fan of the Choco-Swing, but for some reason I didn't find this to be a thoroughly amazing bar. Perhaps in the last three years my taste buds have changed slightly, or perhaps there's just something different in the formula (apart from the change in chocolate of course). I just found the biscuit to be a bit too much, leaving the bar a little dry overall. This is by no means a bad bar though, as the dryness is soon alleviated by the smooth, creamy vanilla stuff on top, and the lovely chocolate around the outside. This is a big, thick bar, satisfying, though not perfectly so. It's nice to see Cadbury are still adding to this range, I look forward to seeing what comes next.

My rating: 4/5
