Happy Valentine's day! I'm sure you've all had enough of the lovey dovey sentiment by now, so let's move from the erotic to the exotic. Exotic mango to be exact, which is the interesting new flavour of Diet Coke that's hit the shelves. I've been a bit of a mango fiend of late, so as soon as I heard about this flavour I rushed out to grab one, thankfully finding it in my nearest Tesco Express.
This is definitely an ambitious flavour for good old Coca Cola, maybe one they should have tackled in a full sugar drink before moving onto the diet version. Still, this is a decent effort, despite being sugar free the mango flavour is emulated pretty well, it's instantly apparent and a pretty nice fruit flavour. It does dissipate eventually, leaving behind that sweetener-like taste, but at least while it lasts this bottle has some nice tropical fruity undertones. Not perfect by any means, but an interesting new addition to the range. Now to track down that peach Coke Zero I've heard about...
