After trying out the salted peanut crunch Fingers a few weeks back, I finally found a box of these salted caramel ones in Morrisons the other day. These are the ones that really caught my eye when they first came out, and although I really enjoyed the peanut variety, I was certainly still looking forward to this one.
These Fingers boast a caramel flavoured biscuit, with some salty crunchy bits thrown in for good measure, all wrapped up in Cadbury chocolate. The chocolate is as good as ever, you can't go wrong with Cadbury. As for the biscuit? Well, it's pretty good. The caramel flavour is present throughout, it's pretty smooth and very sweet, though perhaps a little too sweet. Throwing in some proper caramel would have been a better idea, as it's pretty obvious that these Fingers have a caramel "flavour", it doesn't taste quite right. Still, it's a nice enough effort, and didn't affect the overall flavour too much. and the crunchy pieces scattered throughout the biscuit add a nice bit of texture and saltiness. These may not be as nice as the salted peanut Fingers, but they're definitely worth picking up.
