You can't beat a good bar of Aero, there's something about aerated chocolate that makes it taste so good (it's probably the aeration). But it's been the same old uniformly aerated chocolate for ages now, and it's time to shake things up a bit, so now we have Aero Mousse, which is like an Aero, but with a mousse bit in the middle. Hey, I didn't say they were going to shake things up a lot.
So this bar has two distinct parts, the regular Aero casing, and the mousse filling. I say distinct, but really they're not all that different. Perhaps it was the time spent in a bag in the warm summer air, or perhaps that's just the way it's made, but the insides certainly weren't all that moussey, and the chocolate on the outside wasn't particularly firm. There's some difference in texture, sure, but it's barely noticeable and not all that great. Still, it's the same old Aero chocolate taste, so it's definitely a tasty bar. But it employs a slightly boring concept that isn't pulled off all that well, so it loses some points there.
