Nestlé have come out with another chocolate bar based on their chocolatey treats, after the Smarties bar that showed up recently. This time Toffee Crisp is getting the treatment, resulting in a slab of chocolate, stuffed with rice pieces, caramel and toffee.
While this bar certainly doesn't emulate the actual Toffee Crisp experience too well, due to its flat, non-bobbly nature, I definitely enjoyed it. The filling is nice and creamy, with bold caramel flavours throughout that work well with the chocolate exterior. The only bad point is that there are not quite enough rice pieces, meaning the crunchiness is a bit sparse. Not quite as good as the classic Toffee Crisp, but it's certainly a nice bar of chocolate.
